2nd Annual Panhandle Earth Day Celebration

The 2nd Annual Panhandle Earth Day Celebration will be held Saturday, April 24th at Morgan’s Grove Park on Rt. 480 just outside of Shepherdstown from 12-noon to 9pm. There will be music, art, crafts, food, kid’s activities, demonstrations, environmental and conservation groups, activists, vendors, a farmers market and more! This is a family-friendly, community oriented event that is free and open to the public, so bring the family and come on out!
Music this year will include Paul Pfau & Friends, Gypsy Dawg, Herb and Hanson, Treehouse, The Shemacians, Todd Coyle Band, Luke Johnson Band, Bob Keel, Andrew Luttrell, Buck Flowens, Matt Creamer, Drum Circle and more. Environmental and conservation groups will include the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Shepherdstown Roots & Shoots and others. Vendors will include Boomtown Hoops, Go Green Gals, Potomac River Goods, River & Trail Outfitters, Sewn Together and more.
This is a leave no trace event. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch, lawn chairs, blankets, recreational equipment and comforts for an afternoon in the park. Please leave dogs at home. The celebration will be held rain or shine.
